Control the Input: How to Avoid Production Delays in Tycoon Online

A factory that cannot get its inputs is not an asset at work. It is cash trapped in a building. By Day 2, your most important question may not be “What can I produce?” but “Can I keep producing it?”
Map the complete input chain

Start with the finished product and work backwards. List every material required, where it comes from, how often you need it, and what happens if it disappears from the market. One missing link can stop the whole chain.
Check availability and price

Market supply is driven by players, so availability isn't guaranteed. A material can exist today and become scarce tomorrow. Check both quantity and price. A full warehouse bought at the wrong cost can be just as damaging as an empty one.
Choose your level of control
Buy inputs from the market for flexibility and a lower initial commitment.
Produce key inputs yourself for more predictable supply.
Use a hybrid approach: control the critical input and buy the rest.
Keep a buffer only when the carrying cost and demand justify it.
Calculate before scaling

A second factory doubles more than output. It can increase material demand, payroll exposure, transport needs, and the size of a mistake. Expand only after the first unit proves that supply and sales can support it.
Watch the bottleneck
The best next investment is often not another final-goods factory. It may be the upstream facility, transport capacity, or cash reserve that keeps the current system running.
Production speed looks impressive. Supply reliability is what makes it valuable.
