Why I Do Not Fully Rely on the Market

When I first started playing Tycoon Online, I thought the market could fix almost everything.
Need raw material?
Check the market.
Need supply?
Check the market.
Production slowing down?
Maybe the market can help.
And yes, sometimes it really can.
But after playing more, I started to understand something:
The market is helpful.
But it is not always safe to depend on it.
The Market Can Help, But Not Always

The market is useful because players can buy and sell goods there.
If I am missing something, I can check if another player is selling it.
That can save my production.
It can also help me keep my chain moving when one material runs low.
But the problem is, the goods I need are not always there.
Sometimes the market is empty.
Sometimes the price is not what I expected.
Sometimes the goods are available, but not enough.
And sometimes I need the supply now, but the market does not work like a magic button.
That is when I realise I should not treat the market as my main plan.
It is better as a backup.
A Weak Chain Still Feels Weak

The market can cover a problem for a while.
But it does not always address the problem's root cause.
If my chain keeps running out of the same supply, maybe the real issue is not the market.
Maybe I am not producing enough.
Maybe my warehouse balance is wrong.
Maybe my shop is selling faster than my production can keep up with.
Maybe I expanded too quickly.
This is why I try to ask myself:
Am I using the market for support?
Or am I using it because my chain is not ready?
Those two things feel different.
Buying from the market once can help.
Buying from the market all the time can become a warning sign.
What I Check Before Buying

Now, before I buy from the market, I try to check my own company first.
Do I already have that good in my warehouse?
Is it locked or unavailable?
Is one factory using it too fast?
Is my shop running out because production is too slow?
Do I actually need to buy it, or can I fix my chain?
This helps me avoid panic buying.
Because sometimes I think I need more goods.
But actually, I need a better balance.
The Wiki explains that goods produced or purchased from the market are sent to the warehouse. It also says that factories and shops automatically take the goods they need from the warehouse. So for me, the warehouse is the first place to understand what is really happening.
What This Taught Me
I still use the market.
I think every beginner should understand how useful it can be.
But now I try not to depend on it too much.
Because the market can help me survive.
But my own chain helps me stay stable.
If I always wait for the market, I may be too late.
If I always buy from the market, I may miss the real problem.
So now, when my production slows down, I do not run to the market right away.
I check my warehouse.
I check my supply.
I check my chain.
Then I decide.
Because in Tycoon Online, the market is a tool.
Not a guarantee.
